Description

Our large front hall has a vinyl floor and high ceiling with exposed beams. There is a stage, LED lighting system and tables and chairs available for your use. We have plenty of electric sockets available and good WiFi coverage. There are two unisex toilets and one disabled toilet with baby change facilities. This hall has air-conditioning.

A fully equipped kitchen is available for hire for a one off charge of £35. Please add this as an extra to your booking if needed, the kitchen will not be available unless this charge is added.

No smoke or foam machines allowed due to our sensitive fire alarm system. Bouncy castles and soft play permitted from insured professional providers.

Description

The David Higgs Room has vinyl flooring, standard LED strip lights and optional blue concealed lighting. Ceiling is standard height with a smooth white finish. Tables and chairs are available for your use. This hall has plenty of electric sockets and good Wi-Fi coverage. One unisex toilet and one disabled toilet with a large ledge used for baby changing facilities. This hall has air-conditioning.

A fully equipped kitchen is available for use for a one off charge of £30. Please add this hire charge to your booking if required, the kitchen will not be available unless this charge is added.

Description

The conference room is located on the first floor and accessed by outside steps or if hired with the front hall it can be accessed via the stage. There is currently no easier accessible access to this room.

The conference room is carpeted, painted white with lots of natural light. The beams are exposed, the ceiling white with led strip lighting. This room has air conditioning.

The room is equipped with a meeting table that can be separated into 4 smaller tables and seating for up to 30 people. There is a small kitchenette and a large unisex toilet. There are plenty of electric sockets and good Wi-Fi coverage in this room, higher bandwidth users may want to bring their own Wi-Fi dongle. A pod coffee machine is available on request.

  • You must not exceed the total number of people allowed in each hall
  • Venue to be left clean and tidy after use. Any equipment re-stowed
  • Rubbish taken away or disposed of in outside bin
  • Nappies must not be disposed of in sanitary bins, please use the outside bin
  • Emergency exits and gangways must be kept clear at all times
  • Please be respectful of our neighbours with noise levels and parking
  • Any electrical equipment or appliances used at the centre should be safe and have a valid P.A.T certificate
  • The centre takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal items in the centre or car-park
  • Regular hirers (Groups) of the centre must ensure they are fully insured and have appropriate polices and procedures in place to carry out their activity. The centre takes no responsibility or liability for your members, users or guests. Please check full details in your hire contract

Augustus Hill Room is 54ft (16.46m) x 25ft (7.62m) with a max height for bouncy castles of 8ft (2.44m)

David Higgs Room is 26ft (7.92m) x 23ft (7.01m) with a max height for bouncy castles of 7ft (2.13m)

Conference Room is 15ft (4.6m) x 19ft (5.8m)

FAQ's

Do you have a carpark?

We have a small carpark at the rear of the centre, accessed via Aldsworth Close. Parking is on a  ‘first come, first served’ basis.  There is additional parking in a free public car park behind the centre and on-street parking around the centre. Please note parking on Havant Road is time restricted.

Can I bring food and drink?

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, including alcohol. You may not sell alcohol unless you have a licence.

Pre-prepared food and drink may be stored in and served from the kitchens using your own crockery. If you would like full access to the kitchen including use of equipment and the cooker you must book the kitchen facilities.

What time can I book the hall?

The halls and conference room may be used from 7am until 11pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
